To Set Up or Edit Your Business Registration Account

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. From the Domain Names drop-down list, select Business Registration.
3. Next to the Business Registration account you want to modify, click Manage Account.
4. In the Business Registration control panel, select Business Information from the menu bar at the top of the page.
5. Add or edit your business information, including:
   
   • Address: Enter the business' name and address how you want it to appear in the Business WhoIs listing.
   • Contact: Enter the business' phone number and fax number (e.g., (000) 000-0000) as well as a contact email address.
   • Description: Enter a description of the business and the products and/or services it offers.
   • Business Hours: Specify the business' hours of operation for each day of the week.
   • Categories: Specify the categories and sub-categories to which the business belongs.
   • Online Business Card: Specify if you would like to use the Online Business Card as your Web site.
6. Click OK.

Standard Whois listings contain only the contact and technical information related to a particular domain name. Examples of this include administrative and technical contact names, street addresses, and email addresses, domain name expiration and creation dates, and the domain's registrar.

A Business Registration is an effective marketing tool for any business. In addition to standard Whois data, a Business Registration contains information that attracts customers, including company description, online maps, and site traffic statistics and trends. Optionally, you can also include a company logo, and additional images and links to display to potential customers.

A Whois listing contains information associated with a domain name, such as its creation and expiration dates, the registrar of record, and various contacts (administrative, technical, etc.). Whois data is collected when a domain name is registered and is public information. The Whois information appears whenever a person conducts a Whois search on a particular domain name.

Business Registration works in conjunction with domain name privacy (sold separately) to keep your personal information private while promoting your business. The information that is shielded by a private registration is separate from that which you enter for a Business Registration.

Consequently, a Business Registration contains only the information you choose to make public.

A Business Registration contains two types of information: mandatory information that is a matter of public record (i.e., domain name contact information) and must be displayed, and optional information you can add to enhance your business listing.

To Show/Hide Optional Business Information

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. From the Domain Names drop-down list, select Business Registration.
3. Next to the Business Registration account to modify, click Manage Account.
4. In the menu bar at the top of the page, click Settings.
5. The categories of optional information are: Domain Name Aftermarket, Alexa, and Traffic Trend. To display a particular category in your listing, expand the section you want to include and select Show this on my Whois page. To remove the category, deselect the Show option.

NOTE: If data is not available for a category, the checkbox will not be enabled.
